The Fox and the Crow

The Fox and the Crow

In a peaceful meadow, a clever fox named Felix observed a crow perched on a branch, holding a piece of cheese in its beak. Knowing the crow's weakness for flattery, Felix hatched a cunning plan.

Approaching the crow, Felix praised its beautiful voice and requested a melodious song. The flattered crow, wanting to showcase its talent, opened its beak to sing.

As it did, the cheese fell from its beak, right into Felix's waiting jaws.

The crow realized that it had been deceived by flattery and felt foolish for falling into the fox's trap. From that day forward, it became cautious of those who used sweet words for their own gain.

The moral of the story: Be wary of flattery and manipulative words. True friends value you for who you are, rather than what they can gain from you.
